Sweeny Todd

Sweeney Todd is a fictional character with a tragic fate who first appeared as a central negative character in the Victorian short story "The String of Pearls" (1846-47). Debates over whether he existed or not are still ongoing.

According to the original version of the legend, Todd was a hairdresser who killed his clients. He pressed a secret lever which opened a hatch under the chair where the victim fell into the basement and broke his neck. In other interpretations, Todd first cut the victim's neck and then dumped the body in the basement using a hatch. His accomplice Lovett helped him get rid of the bodies by baking meat pies from the victims. Sweeney Todd's hair salon was located at 186 Fleet Street, if you want to pay a visit.

Sweeney Todd is a handmade, vegan fragrance oil made from natural ingredients based on grape seed oil. The scent is mainly heavy, created with a dominance of base notes such as oak moss and styrax, balanced by Mr Todd's bitterness. But it also has sweet and healthy hints of orange and honeysuckle. It comes in a silver-colored cylinder container with a roll-on applicator for easy use.
