Skull Candle

Skull candle made of organic olive stearin from Italy which is both vegan and fossil-free. The wick is made of 100% cotton and made in Germany. Hand-casted by Södermalms ljusfabrik (candle factory). 

If the flame gets too high, extinguish the candle and trim the wick to about 0.5 cm. Candle dishes with a rim are recommended because the stearin will run out of, for example, the eye sockets.

Caution: Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep it out of the reach of children and pets. Place the candle upright on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Never place the candle on or near flammable objects, and ensure that it is protected from drafts and is at least 10 cm away from other burning candles. Trim the wick to approximately 0.5 cm before lighting to prevent the candle from sootying or flaring, and keep the wax pool free of matches and other debris.

Alkeramik is a ceramic craft project based on alchemical wisdom and ethical awareness. The materials chosen should minimize negative impacts on humans, animals and nature. Behind the brand is the alceramist Joar, who works from his studio on Södermalm in Stockholm. In addition to ceramics, he also creates candles under his brand Södermalms, which complements the alceramics.
