CASTLETOWN

Johannes Arnesson Ekman started drawing tiny detailed castle towns around 2020 as a way of self therapy battling some mental health issues. The technique is a mix of fineliner ink pens, pointilism and graphite shadowing and the details are ever evolving for each new building or little town. In the larger castle towns you can often find a little cat hiding in one of the windows as an homage to a dear furry friend that passed away. All works are original pieces, drawn by hand, inspired by fantasy stories such as Game Of Thrones and Lord Of The Rings.

When not drawing or painting, Johannes makes his living creating dark electronic music and touring under the name Owl Vision in a genre called Death Electro, est 2007.
