Hand-bound notebook made from recycled paper. This book has an ornamental pattern embossed on the front and in the middle of the pattern is a hand-sculpted cameo with a skull. The spine of the book reads Codex Diaboli and the book closes with a chain that is secured with a lock. The chain is anchored in a recycled metal buckle at the front and a painted piece from a vinyl mat. The book has unlined pages and is therefore excellent for use as a notebook or sketchbook.

Each of Stick‘n’Rope's journals are unique and handmade from scratch and the pages and covers are made from recycled paper. Binding is done by hand, meticulously piece by piece. The sewing of pages is done just like in medieval times, using a variety of stitching methods. Cover design is a blend of many different techniques which became their signature style. They make their own natural sculpting paste for embossing and they often use herbs and spices to make patina and paint.
